Duncan Johnson

Duncan Johnson (aka Gerald Clements) was born as a Canadian in Toronto, Ontario. In his early years he worked in the lumber industry in western Canada and eventually joined a radio station in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. After a time at CJOC in Lethbridge, Alberta, Duncan was offered a job in Bermuda where he stayed for a year and a half. Since he had relatives in Britain (on his mother's side nee Pentelow) he decided to pay them a visit. While doing some voice over work he came across a newspaper article that outlined the formation of Radio London. At first he covered for broadcasters who were on shore leave, but eventually had his own show, "London After Midnight". After leaving Radio London Duncan Worked for the BBC, cut his own record,and worked for a variety of radio stations as well as EMI records.
